The most convenient way to reach Lund is flying to the international airport Kastrup in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Öresund train departs from Kastrup every 20 minutes and reaches Lund in about 40 minutes. Many trains will take you directly to Lund, but sometimes you need to change in Malmö, a large Swedish city next to Copenhagen. The Öresund trains are less frequent in late evenings and during weekends. The train ticket costs 142 SEK. Train tickets must be bought at Kastrup Airport from the ticket machines in Terminal 3.
The domestic airport Sturup is 25 km south of Lund. Frequent flights from Stockholm and some regular international flights, e.g. from London Standsted airport (Ryan Air) arrive in Sturup. There is a shuttle bus running between the airport and central Lund (price around 115 SEK). The bus passes by Ideon Gammahuset, which is 5 minutes walk to the conference venue. The taxi station is outside the terminal. Before taking a taxi you should check with the driver the expected price: the price to Lund is normally around 395 SEK.
